During five days you will explore the most impressive settings of southern Patagonia: you will navigate between channels and glaciers to spot humpback whales, walk among thousands of Magellanic penguins on Magdalena Island, and undertake a challenging trek to the Cross of the Seas, in the mythical Cabo Froward, the southernmost point of the American continent.
A complete trip for those seeking pure nature, close encounters with wildlife, and deep emotions in the extreme south of Chile.

Important Information
ITINERARY
- Arrival in Punta Arenas, transfer to accommodation.
- Free time to rest or explore the city on your own.
- Accomodation in Punta Arenas.
- Start of the excursion to Magdalena Island and Marta Island at 06:00 AM, checking in at the excursion office.
- After the transfer to the boarding point, there will be a 45-minute speedboat navigation to Magdalena Island for a 1-hour guided walk to observe Magellanic penguins in their natural environment. Continuing the journey to Marta Island for sighting sea lions, imperial cormorants, and southern gulls.
- Return to the pier and back to Punta Arenas. End of the excursion at midday.
- Free afternoon to explore the city (suggestions: Muñoz Gamero Square, Nao Victoria Museum, Municipal Cemetery). Accommodation in Punta Arenas.
- Start of the navigation to Santa Inés Island, Whale and Glacier Sighting at 03:30 AM, checking in at the excursion office.
- Transfer to the navigation point, where there will be breakfast on board as the journey begins through the southern channels for marine fauna sighting such as sea lions, southern birds, and humpback whales, the giants of the sea. These noble travelers travel thousands of kilometers each year and during their passage through Santa Inés Island, they give us one of nature's most exciting spectacles. The journey ends with the arrival at Santa Inés Island, where we will have a privileged view of the imposing glacier of the same name; during the navigation you can also enjoy lunch.
- Return to Punta Arenas, estimated arrival around 6:00 PM.
- Accommodation in Punta Arenas.
- Start of the Expedition to Cabo Froward and Cruz de los Mares between 04:00 AM and 06:00 AM, pick up at accommodation and transfer to Bahía Agua Fresca.
- Upon arrival at the base camp, you will receive the necessary technical equipment for the day.
- From there, after a short navigation to Bahía Carrera, the starting point of the trek, we will ascend to the emblematic Cruz de los Mares, located at 340 meters altitude, at the southernmost tip of the American continent.
- Regarding meals, a delicious breakfast, a snack during the walk, and another snack at the end of the excursion are included.
- Once the tour is finished, we will begin the descent to return to Hostería Agua Fresca, where you can change clothes and rest briefly.
- Return to the city, accommodation in Punta Arenas.
- Transfer from the accommodation to the airport or bus station
